The Apple Tree series was created in 2010. It was a lonely tree at the back of an apple orchard in Thornbury, Ontario. A while back I was in a park painting it on a weekend, and it sold before I had even come close to finishing it. So in order to have the chance to show it off, I proceeded to paint another one, and that one sold as soon as it was put on show. So in turn I painted another and the exact thing happened straight away. Every time I paint one it sells, so it has become my most popular piece I have ever created. I don’t run prints of it as I love painting it and each time I create it, it contains every bit of love that I put into the original idea. Here are a few examples below.

The Apple Tree is on a journey and who knows where it will land. Please contact me if you are interested in commissioning one of your own.
