In the land of Oz, you've got these oddball critters called Lorikeets, just a bit like us humans, they work hard and party even harder.
After a hard days yakka, these blokes head straight for the local birdwatchers' boozer as the clock strikes 5 pm. They ain't shy about having a ripper of a time, you can hear their chinwag from miles away, like a mob of rowdy humans in a pub, chugging down their nectar of choice.
Now, these Lorikeets aren't just known for their ruckus; they've got a knack for stirring up trouble too. After a few tipples, feathers get all ruffled, beaks start flappin', and before you know it, it's a full-blown donnybrook. These ratbags tumble out of the trees, squawkin' and flappin' about, slinging insults at each other like a bunch of roos in a barney.
In the thick of their boozy blue, they lose their balance and fall off their perches. With a few rums in 'em, they have a crack at flying home but usually end up copping a wall, window, or something that ain't movin'.
The next mornin' tells a different yarn. The Lorikeets who made it home wake up with a beak that feels like they've gone ten rounds with a Mack truck.
These Aussie Lorikeets are a fair dinkum reminder that, no matter the species, a night of wild fun can lead to a morning of regrets. They kiss and make up, share a laugh about their drunken shenanigans, and can't wait for the next evening's adventures.
