"Filtered Light II"

Another exploration into light, abstraction and basic colour. My lovely lady challenged me to use 4 basic colours and avoid my normal temptation to create strong contrast. The colours were light pink, light blue, light yellow and white. In the end I had to add raw umber to boost the contrast, and basically reverting to my natural desire to create a strong piece of art. I love this piece and it brought me a great deal of pleasure painting it.
