Dear Collector,
Thank you for becoming a collector of a limited edition print by William D Higginson. Your print was hand signed, numbered and titled by the artist.
Please read our tips for handling & framing your print below.
Handling & Framing
To make shipping safer and faster, we ship the prints rolled in mailing tubes. We recommend you take the packaged print straight to a professional framing shop in your area to have it framed. This will minimize the chance of potential damage in handling the print.
It is highly recommended to use archival quality acid free materials when framing the print to ensure longevity of the materials.
In your home
Your print was printed on enhanced matte acid free paper using the highest quality inks. Although we use the best materials, the nature of the paper print requires some specific care to keep it looking great.
To avoid damage, avoid hanging the print in a spot where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, even if it has UV protective glass. This is best practice for any artwork, as UV rays are not only harmful for our skin, but for art materials too.
Although a fine art print can bring a unique visual adventure to pretty much any space, we do not recommend keeping it in a bathroom or another space where moisture and temperature changes abound, which can affect the artwork.
Storage
If you are not planning on framing the print and storing it for long periods of time, we recommend storing it flat.
Make sure that any materials that are in contact with the stored print are acid- free, such as glassine paper or acid-free plastic sleeves which are found in fine art storage portfolios.
