12" x 12", Oil on Canvas

He steps back, watching the work in progress. The figure before him is both familiar and foreign... an unfinished version of himself, carved from stone, reshaped, redefined.

Becoming better is not a single act but a slow, deliberate process. It requires stepping away, gaining perspective, and chipping away at what no longer serves. The scaffolding is temporary, the work ongoing. There is no final form... only the commitment to keep building.

He watches, knowing the process is endless. But perhaps that is the point.
