The board is quiet now. The pieces that once mattered lie scattered, the game already decided. Ahead, the old clock has collapsed in on itself, its hands gone, its rules no longer keeping score.

For a long time everything moved to its rhythm. Every step measured, every moment accounted for. But standing here, it’s clear the game that once shaped everything has already been played.

Through the broken face of the clock, a path opens.

Not an ending.

Just somewhere else to walk.
