The Fading Divide

12" x 12", Oil on Canvas

He stands at the edge of a world no longer clear-cut. Once, the board beneath him was a battlefield of stark contrasts... black and white, right and wrong, move and counter-move. Now, the lines blur. The colors fade into one. The certainty of rules dissolves into something more uncertain, more complex.

And yet, time remains. The great clock watches, unmoved by doubt, measuring each moment with indifference.

The world around him is shifting. What was once solid is now fractured, breaking apart under the weight of change. The familiar structure of the board is giving way to something else... something unpredictable. It is neither destruction nor creation but an in-between state, where the past and future collide.

Some things blur. Some things change. But the clock never stops.
